My motto is "relate + create."

We all have an inner artist. It just needs a person to invite it out to play. There is nothing more joyful than passing along creative techniques and watching students (young and old) delight in their creations.

I have taught first graders how to knit and tenth graders how to layout a magazine. I've taught nervous knitters how to make sweaters for their grandkids and art students how to paint with acrylics. I've taught students photo composition and then interior design. I just love to create in a variety of mediums and show others how they can, too.
